GalleyList is grocery ordering software for boats and fleets. Captains build weekly orders from the company catalog; the office reviews requests, manages boat budgets, and tracks purchasing.
Customizable to your company
GalleyList is set up with your own fleet details, not a generic list. Owner and office tools support these company-specific settings:
- Your boat namesEach boat in your fleet signs in under its own name and boat number.
- Your grocery catalogThe office loads the items, categories, unit notes, and prices boats order from.
- Your boat budgetsSet a weekly budget per boat. Captains see what is left as they order.
- Your grocery partnerThe office records which grocer your company orders through.
- Your assistant knowledgeCompany knowledge for the assistant is kept separate for each company.
Order from your own list, with the budget in view
The boat door is built for a phone in the galley: large plus and minus buttons, a search box, and a running total.
- Search the catalog by item name or category, or filter to just what is on order.
- Weekly budget, subtotal, and remaining stay pinned at the top while you order.
- Drafts save as you go. If a save fails, the screen says so and offers a retry.
- Send to office when the order is ready, after a confirm step showing item count and total.
- Past orders are a tap away for reference.
Review, catalog, and reporting tools
Order review
See orders sent in by boats. If something needs changing, return it with a note; the captain sees the note, edits, and sends it again.
Grocery catalog
Maintain the items, categories, unit notes, and prices boats order from. Items without a price show as TBD and are left out of totals.
Boats and budgets
Manage the boats in your fleet and the weekly budget each one orders against.
Benny reporting
Benny is the reporting view for fleet purchasing, with its own sign-in.
A voice assistant that knows which boat it is talking to
The assistant is available on the boat, office, and Benny screens. On the boat it works for that specific boat, and the company knowledge it draws on is kept separate per company, so one fleet's information does not mix with another's.
Plain about the limits
GalleyList is an ordering and review tool. It does not check live store inventory, connect to grocery store systems, or deliver groceries. Prices come from the catalog your office maintains.
